83 dash issues. Help

We have a NOS dash and are trying to installit in out truck. The issue we are experiencing is that the dash is not laying flat in the from but wanting to flex up. Any ideas on how the clips mount and suggestions on getting it to lay flat.

JUst make sure your clip nearest the windshield are in the slots right and that your gauge bezel isn't hanging up the front of the dash. Check for any wires or any other obstructions you may have between the dash and the metal dash frame. They are pretty straight forward if you get it set right and fasten it all in.
