Talking Brake switch for automatic's

Found this info over on LS1 tech. Thought it may help some out here. For a factory brake light switch that has the proper power when needed to the transmission and lights. This should be a direct fit.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

There are actually 2 part #'s for the same part at napa, using different prefixes. They are different colors and prices, but function the same.

I have pictures in my build.

One is for cruise control and the other looks just like a 71 chevy truck factory switch. Will a cruise brake switch for a 71 chevy truck work you think?
Looks to be same price to me.

A 71 cruise switch would be the same, just looks a little different. This would be a service replacement part for it.

Went to O Rielly's and got a 71 Chevy truck with cruise and it's correct. Got home and verified the conections. This will go right back in the holder that the brake switch is in now. Cool!
Now for the weather to coroperate. We had snow yesterday so no eshaust work today he was closed. Taking it first thing in the morning and hope to drop it off back at Hawks later tomorrow for the final prep!

Closed for Snow?

You ...and the whole city of Atlanta need to put on a jacket and turn into the skid!
I couldn't resist, I've been looking for a reason to bring that up.

Not me, I worked that night drove in it to work 12hr shift. The exshaust didn't get done today either. Drove over and he had a doctor's appointment. Said to bring it back Monday. I think I'm going to find another place by then.

PS the switch worked great. All good!
