Re: Project Overtime
I understand that feeling. My "three month" project has taken me almost a year to get where I am and I still have more to go. Keep up the good work. I am looking forward to the finish product.

Re: Project Overtime
Man you really miss that truck don't you? J/K, I would too. That color looks as good now as it did last time, can't beat it.

Re: Project Overtime
Lol yea. I think it's a nice color that's unique but not flashy. Every time i see that color it brings back the memory of his truck coming down the driveway.

Re: Project Overtime
Nope, had my body guy use the same rustoleum but it was mixed with hardener and sprayed. He had found a mixture formula that's makes this almost indestructible, it doesn't quite have the base/clear shine but at a fraction of the cost and the nature of use of the truck I went back this route.

Re: Project Overtime
Truck has been back from body work and paint for a few days, made a little progress:
Unloading from the flat bed: The empty shell: And a little bit installed: So far the Harness has been routed in the interior (engine bay is giving me trouble, I have no idea how to wire the alternator), sound deadner has been applied, steering column installed and Heater box and A/C ducts have been put in place. |

Re: Project Overtime
I'm having trouble figuring out wiring on the alternator, my alt has 3 connectors (2 spade and a post). It looks like it WAS wired with 1 connection going to the fuse block on the firewall and 1 going to the junction box on the firewall, the post was connected but not hooked to anything. Any ideas?
