Question Tft

Sorry guy's if I posted this already. I still have no TFT signal on my scan gauge and it's driving me crazy not having it for some reason. I have never had a TFT in the truck but now that I can I want it.

So here is what I have found so far: The transmission should have the senor already according to the sources I have found on the net. Grey plug on side of transmission connector # L purple wire going to the computer to pin # 30. I should be able to look at both and detirme if in fact the wire is there...right and if so why it want pull up temperature reading. If not there then I need to run a wire to these connections and hope it turns on.
Question #1 which computer plug in on back of ecu should it go to? Color

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Tft

Hi Andy, i looked trhough the torc install manual and it appears that you can interface to load software changes into the torc controller through a laptop, but this system doesn't seem to support or have a live online serial data info for a scan tool. The display on the torc box can display trans temp through prompts. I would compare it to this; a telephone is in use inside a house and people are communicating, but no phone line connected to the house and nobody on the outside able to talk to the people inside the house. I've read some of your threads and i know that it bugs you not to get this info. I don't know if my example helps, but trying to help none the less, good luck, Brian F.

Thanks, Yea it bugs the you know what out of me.
I figured it's there I just have to figure out how to get it. When I get another chance I'm going to get under the truck and see if the wiring is there.
