LED Upgrade issue
I recently, as in yesterday, upgraded all exterior lights to LED except the reverse light that did not work anyways. I have a couple issues.
First, the instrument panel lights stopped working. Checked all the fuses and they are GTG. The left and right turn signals work though. The exterior lights work for the most part which leads to Second the Side marker lights work, now, as a blinker also. The issue is they are also working as a brake light. The left side marker will work correctly if I turn the right signal indicator on. This same thing does not effect the right side. any help with this would be appreciated. thank you. |

Re: LED Upgrade issue
Not sure if it is your issue but the LED's I use in the gauge clusters have a directional current flow. If they are in the bulb socket backwards, they will not light up. You have to flip them in the socket or flip the socket in the printed circuit board.
I am not sure if all LED's are like this but I have had this problem with the ones I have used before. Let us know what you figure out. Also, did you buy dimmable dash LED's? Who did you buy them from? Gppd luck, Tom
