GMC Grille headlight adjustment nuts?
Anyone have a source for GMC headlight adjusting screws and the nylon/plastic adjusting nuts? I have a 66 GMC grille that needs a full set. Thanks.

Re: GMC Grille headlight adjustment nuts?
I bought the help packs from Orellies.....the ones with the extra long screws. Installed em and where the screws were too long, trimmed em and reinstalled. Headlights now secured and aimed for a few bucks and no shipping costs or delays.

Re: GMC Grille headlight adjustment nuts?
all the vendors carry them. Last couple I bought were from classic parts, but lmc and the other vendors have them also.

Re: GMC Grille headlight adjustment nuts?
I bought mine from Classic Parts. My 1960 uses this type:
http://www.classicparts.com/1958-61-.../#.UwYVE7mYb1Q The 62-68 apparently uses this type: http://www.classicparts.com/1962-68-.../#.UwYVSrmYb1Q And they all seem to use this screw: http://www.classicparts.com/1941-68-.../#.UwYVabmYb1Q

Re: GMC Grille headlight adjustment nuts?
Kieth, I like the idea of metal ones that don't break. Out here in the desert, rust is not an issue, but the heat is sure hard on plastic. That link on metal standoffs didn't come through, but I will look through the fasteners in grainger.com. Thanks.
