There seems to be a light on underneath the windshield wiper switch. original? ever seen this?

Not original. Probably part of a theft deterent system (blinks to scare off potential theives).

Its a light speed reached indacater. Specia loption from chevy but standard equipment on millenium falcons.

Thats the shift light for the 4 speed turbine it should flash red 4 times before reaching 400 x mach speed in 4 seconds at 4:00 o clock on the 4th day, 4th hour, 4th minute.4000 millasecond and .0004000 nanosecond. Defiantly a military issue item only and coming out of area 51 lol....
