Just to reinforce what's already been posted (and toss in my .02) -
Back in the late '70s I got a set of 15x8 white steel spokes with TruTracs (remember those?) to replace my 16" split rims. Required some minor front caliper grinding. I can't recall the brand, but I bought them from Dick Cepek. As stated, they are safety rims - that is, a small lip helps the bead to stay sealed at lower pressures - and 16.5 rims are not, and may pop a bead more easily at low pressure, especially if you bump a rock or a stob.
