Stupid Question

Does anyone know they type/size of bolt needed for the fuel doors on a 81-87? I have a V10 to be specific and never had doors so never had the originals.

Or should I just find a standard bolt that fits the threads of the new doors?

Re: Stupid Question

IIRC, they are 1/4" thread dome head Allen bolts

Re: Stupid Question

They seemed to have worked perfectly. I went with 3/4" in length but 1/2" is probably all that is needed.

Re: Stupid Question

I have another silly question. I bought new fuel doors since my truck never had them. I bought the 73-87 from RockAuto but for some reason they don't fit correctly.
