Roadster a door
I was looking an article about Rob's No-Limit's Hellboy truck. He did something called Roadstering a door. Take a look at the picture. Took the window frame and cut it off of the door and attached it to the cab. What do you think? Ever seen this done before and is there a build somewhere? Pluses and minuses? I imagine that it would be very difficult to ever get the window to seal.

Re: Roadster a door
I don't get it, what is the improvement, when the door is shut it looks the as stock? I have seen this truck in person and it's very cool by the way.

Re: Roadster a door
camaros and other cars with frameless windows have a pretty complicated window regulator to keep the window in place against the seal. I have seen a lot of convertible minitrucks and the windows always flop around with the frame cut off.

Re: Roadster a door
Looks like a blazer with a regular truck roof on it.

Re: Roadster a door
That is their race truck and it does appear to be built using a Blazer as a base, but as this article shows it started as a C-10 pickup http://www.streettrucksmag.com/hellb...utocross-c-10/ It actually started as a 3/4 ton Longhorn edition. That will get the Longhorn brigade's noses out of joint.
