Classic parts.com lists one as pn 53-811. I have no experience with it.

Lol, you weren't certain what the readings on the gauge implied - answered. These gauges are so inaccurate it's kind of funny actually. You pegging it out just proved it passed electricity and not much else. Not sure why your gauge would be that much different than mine - which is new/cluster. Mine doesn't go 'vertical'.
