Re: The mean lean

I thought if it was a sagging leaf the whole truck would lean not the body I measured the frame and bumpers their level.. So wouldn't that mean the bushings and mounts are shot..not the leafs I could be wrong I'm learning as I go

Re: The mean lean

Well I took of my grill and headlight bezels to look at radiator/body mounts the passenger side is all rusted out that's why the lean on pass side. Bad news but at least I figured it out.. How hard is it to swap out the radiator support? Do I have to take fenders off?

I've never swapped just the radiator support but I'd try it with the fenders on.

You may need to support the front of the fenders somehow. There will be a series of bolts (maybe 5 or so) along the inside of the rad support (engine compartment side) attaching it to the front of the fender inner, and then a couple bolts (two, maybe) at the very nose of the fender (headlamp side).

Undo the rad support bolts at the frame, spread the fenders slightly and see if you can slip the rad support out.

If not, then further dissassembly will be required.

If stuff is rotted: fix it.

If stuff is not rotted: shim it.

Well I bought a nice oem radiator support. Just did a little wire brushing and sanding finished with three coats of rustoleum semi gloss. I'm pretty happy with results.. Now all I have to do is install with new bushings and no more lean well that's the plan.
