Good, less things to go haywire later too!

I knew that. I said "like" the diagram. He grabbed his multimeter and figured it out, life is good.

Yep a good 30 min w multimeter and I worked it out. Only thing I'm nervous is the power lead is a small wire. I don't think these are designed for the power to go thru them. I think they actually go thru a relay in the memory seat module. Good news is that once I get seat installed there really isn't much room to move them. I'm tempted to set them and never move again...then I don't have to go nuts on wiring. But I'm glad I got a plan now...time to mount them and loose the headrest

You could set up a ground accuated relay with with a 12ga fused power to the motors. When a switch closed the relay would send power to the motors. Not at home so can,t do a schematic

That' would work but I'd need two per motor to switch directions. What a pain, so far wiring from switch to motor is working. Moving on to rest of motors now. Hope they keep working

i hate to keep beating the same horse, but as you figured out, the power to your seat goes thru the memory module
your seat switch will only be capable of mili-amp loads and uses relays in the module to control the motors
a basic electric seat in the same type of vehicle will have a switch capable of handling the load and no memory module
