Short Fleetside Braces

I tried to search this out, but had no luck - so please bear with me.

Don't the four (bolt-on rod) side panel braces mount to the Fleet side bed's cross-sills from the inside of the sill's channel with the sills mounted so the brace's mounting holes are on the forward (cab) side when installed?

Thanks... rg

Re: Short Fleetside Braces

I have a '64 longbed, and that's the way mine was mounted from the factory. I moved my bedfloor up, so I had to change it from the stock configuration.

Re: Short Fleetside Braces

I brought mine up 3" as well - so in addition to trying to remember how these go in, I have to figure out if another 3" of length will do (or what will) with the angle on each.

Thanks!
