Brake light problems
My battery keeps getting drained because the brake lights stay on when the lights are off. I'll check the grounds again because that is 90% of the electrical demons that drive me nuts. However, I put new grounds on both sides on the frame a few months ago. Any ideas?

Re: Brake light problems
x2.
I have had this problem more than once on my '65 C10. The brake pedal switch gets a little loose or worn... it has a spring inside that always puts tension against the top of the brake pedal arm, so when you push the brake pedal down, the arm swings away from the brake pedal switch, the little peg/cylinder extends out, activating the switch and brake lights come on(if everything is wired up correctly). It can be a little aggravating to adjust the first time you mess with it. If you have to take the wires loose from the brake pedal switch, they just slide right off of the end. Good luck, -W |

Re: Brake light problems
Check first to make sure your brake pedal is not getting stuck. Pull back on it a little to see if it moves.
