1960-1966 GMC headlight adjuster kit
I couldn't find any kits online so here is what I used that fit perfectly.
1958-1982 Corvette Headlight/Headlamp Adjuster Kit 244005 Use 5/32"dia rivets if available, I used 1/8" because I couldn't find any 5/32" at the stores i went to. I used 1/2" long which I had to drill 1/8" holes in some bracket behind the horizontal adjuster holes that kept the rivets from going in far enough. Some of these kits come with nuts/bolts for installation but I believe the whole assembly would have to be removed in order to use them so I would do the rivets. Installation was a lot quicker than finding parts that fit so hopefully this will save someone else some time. I saw some posts that suggested using thread extenders or threaded couplers, I had purchased some but needed the bolts that came with this kit and i'm glad I took the chance. |
