Converting to Hydraulic Clutch ?

I am building a 70 c10 and dropping in a 350 with a T56 trans, issue at hand it how to go about converting to a Hydraulic Clutch

Option 1:
Out of the box kit from American Powertrain (~$380) Specifically built for the c10 and the t56 setup, from what i understand bolt up and go.

Option 2:
Complete build it yourself as shown by TR65 (~$100) not specific to the truck or the trans complete build from scratch.

Option 3:
Retrofit a 93-95 Camaro clutch setup to my 70 c10 (~$150-$200) specific for the trans. The t56 BW came out of one of these Camaro's but it is not specific to my trucks pedals

Option 4: any other suggestions

Questions. comments or words of wisdom welcome.

Re: Converting to Hydraulic Clutch ?

Can you use a hydraulic setup out of a 85 and newer square body including the bell housing?

Re: Converting to Hydraulic Clutch ?

Using an newer clutch assembly is that pretty much bolt in or is there a fair amount of mods needed?

Re: Converting to Hydraulic Clutch ?

I haven't done it but I would think it shouldn't be too hard to fab a pedal and master from an 88-98 truck since the clutch pedal is a seperate unit from the brake unlike the square bodies. Like I said I haven't done it but I think it's the route I would attempt if I was going to.
