Her latest Project
Hello fellow truck enthusiasts. I recently purchased a 1969 C30 Chevrolet. It is really an awesome truck. I drove it all the way home with my husband following me in his Ram 2500, I think he thought I had lost my mind.
No plans to restore but thought we might freshen the truck up. Had a couple of questions, with the exception of the chassis are most of the parts interchangeable between C10 and C30. The ole girl desperately needs new cab mounts and we are not sure where to find them. This leads to our second question, is there a vendor or vendors that you all would recommend. p.s. just finished the power tour in my '56 2 door chevy so I am hoping to get the truck freshened up so we can take a long trip. I also have lots of hauling to do...... |

Re: Her latest Project
classicheartbeat has the mounts. yours are different than the c10. most of your suspension stuff is different. interior and body are generally the same.
brothers trucks, classicheartbeat, lmc are the easiest places to start to see whats available. |

Re: Her latest Project
Being here in KC, you have lots of places to get new parts for the 67-72 trucks.
No shipping is a big plus. Classic Parts: Riverside, Mo LMC Truck Parts: Lenexa, Ks Jim Carter Trucks: Independence, Mo Manes Truck Parts: Odessa, Mo Even better there are several members who part out these trucks, and have lots of parts for them within an hour drive of KC. Have Fun!

Re: Her latest Project
For finding out what parts are or are not common between a C10 and a C30, RockAuto is a great place to look. Their catalog gives year and model interchange information when you click the part number - for instance, the disc calipers are the same for c10, c20 and c30 in '71!
