Restoring door panels

Gonna be taking the door apart to replace the mirrors. Gonna be replacing the door and window handles at the same time. Instead of spending a ton on new blue replacements, im just going try and clean them up myself I was just wondering if there were any tips or tricks to clean them up. Thanks yall!

Dawn dish soap and soft sponge. Can't scrib too hard unless you plan on repainting them.

Any heavy stuff can be taken off with goo gone orange spray.
