Ok so I figured I'd let you guys In in my little project i have going
On here.
Before:

The bed was shot!!!
North eastern truck, frame is in real good shape and the cab is workable.
Typical cab corners and rockers but not underneath just the front which is good.
I bought a roller 78 scottsdale c10 stepside
Cab is shot but everything else is nice. Frame had a bend in it so I decided to use it to build my k20 up and make one truck out of two.
Only problem was the my k20 is/was a lwb and the stepside was a swb.
So I went online researched for literally 2 months at least and picked the brains of a lot of welders.
So I went for it cut my frame down and welded it up this weekend. It was challenging by yourself but I got it done.

Sometimes you just have to throw yourself into something and get it done .
I'm gunna weld in a bunch of supports on the inside of the frame so I can sleep at night knowing is not going anywhere.
There was a guy on this site that said he has been welding dump truck frames for years and they are still carrying weight today. So I was worried about cutting and welding the frame but it came out great. Yes there's a couple things u would of done different but hey you live you learn .
Thanks for checking out my thread ill post pics when I get the bed on
Just have to clean the frame up and paint it
