Tool Box

Hi Guys,
I'm wondering if anybody knows of a toolbox that fits a 1966 Wide Box truck and sits below the rail.
I have a tonneau cover on my truck and would like to get a toolbox that fits under it to carry some smaller things with me.
Even if you just know the measurements that would be nice, my truck is currently a state away from me so I can't just go measure.

Thanks!

Re: Tool Box

the bed dimensions on my 66 are 68 ¾" inside to inside at the top rail, 19" deep, from the wood to top of bed rail. I have a standard flushmount tool box in mine(19") tall & its level with my bed rails. Hope this helped.

Ditto the above dims. Also, about 32" between front panel lip and wheel tub if you are putting an extra wide box in there.

Re: Tool Box

Those drawer units are cool, I had a pack rat(3 drawers laying flat in bed) in mine but covered up all my oak boards so I put it in my other truck, but they do work really well.

Re: Tool Box

My 66 had this big sucker in it. Still has the original mfg. decals on it, probably from the early 70s. Basically fills the whole front of the box up to the wheel wells. Sits flush with the top of the bed sides. This truck had a tonneau cover also. Don't know if anyone still makes anything like this anymore or not.
