How rare are this : Fleetside Step Up GM Part # 988423

i found this surfing the web and will be contacting the individual later on regarding this item

how hard are they to locate and what were their use .... ???

Not terribly rare. They were just the bedside step to help reach things in the middle of the bed, or to climb into the bed from the side.

Rarity, Not that rare they show up often. There were aftermarket company's that made them too. You have to cut a hole in the side of your bed, normally towards the front, Like the titles says it a step. I sold an aftermarket pair here on the board for around $125

I can as i am 6-2, but my wife has to crawl in lol. a couple of more yrs, i don't know. building this truck has kept me pretty limber. I would like to find an old train step stool from the old days (when i was a kid)

Puts some strain on the sheet metal when in use. I try not to use my set on my truck and trailer. But they are an Accessory so they have to be there.
