So your looking for the upper trim from a Suburban to try and fit in your Panel ? There are brackets welded in a Suburban roof to mount that trim. Might want to start a "wanted to buy thread "

Pardon my ignorance...I have one side in my panel already in place when I got it and thought I needed the other side. Are you saying the panels don't have these normally?

Re: Wanted bardon bumpers need 3 can get home from california

Sorry no pics, the panel is in So Cal but I am going down there at the end of the week and will take some shots then. Your pictures seem to show they never had one in the panel. Maybe the PO jerry-rigged a suburban one up there...I will check for mounting holes to see if original or not.
Thanks so much for your help...I really appreciate you taking the time.
jon
PS: I got a shot of my parts trucks, 65' and 66' GMC's, the blue one has what looks like a bardon bumper but you wouldn't want it as the rust is what I think is holding it together...The yellow one has a 351E V6 big block. I drove it to its location but am not sure what to do with the engine at this point...the blue one has a 230 and I am driving it "as is" for now until something breaks down.

60-66...Here are a few pictures of my 65' panel...The sides have a sheet metal interior covering the area where the window would be on the suburban. I am 99% sure it is a factory finish inside and as you can see I am missing the passenger side top rail or header...what ever it is called. Anyone else have this feature on their panel or have one of those rails or headers they want to sell? Jon

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that your truck started life as a Suburban. The other possibility is the roof was change but I notice a Suburban front seat also. The VIN would say for sure.

I'm contributing to a major thread jack-knife here, but is that possibly a rarely seen option of a "finished out" panel interior. Those side panels sorta look factory. Very interesting.

I am sure it is factory and was always a panel. The step up under the middle seat on a suburban isn't there...its flat all the way to the front seat where it drops a few inches. jon

Yes but why are those bump outs on the lower portion there then ? Look at picture one drivers side lower middle. That's for the other piece of lower window trim. Theres another one at the front. Strange indeed. Looks good though.

Yes, PO modified the back to cancel out the bumper...I was fearing he used that trim piece to do it with. If you notice on the suburban picture you sent me the upper trim piece has cutouts for the window trim that aren't there on my existing panel trim.

I assumed they were for a wood trim guard rail or maybe a padded panel like the door panels sometimes have...?

Oops! must have been a different/older panel picture I saw with the cutouts

Look again Jon, those cutouts are for the roof supports and are on the top edge, not bottom
