We Need a Good Article!
I just finished reading this month's Hemmings Classic Car. One article about a 1957 Chevy pickup, another about 1957-61 Ford F-series pickups. I looked at the back issues index for the November/December Vintage Truck; in 22 years, no articles about 1969-72 Blazers or Jimmys. It doesn't seem that we are getting much love for our classic trucks and I don't understand why. Many have commented here about the negative (and in my opinion, undeserved) price differentials between our trucks and cruder 1st generation 4X4s. It seems to me one of the reasons for this situation is simply lack of market identity. While 1st gen Blazers and Jimmys aren't rare in the larger sense, nor are they common. We need to get an article featuring one of our drop dead gorgeous restorations, or a great original, planted in some of these car mags!

Shhhhh !! ..let sleeping dogs lie. Spread the good word and we'll all pay the price - truck and parts prices will shoot north and next thing ya know we're in the same bunk as $20K+ Broncos

Re: We Need a Good Article!
I'd be perfectly content to be in the $40-50,000 league since that would make it economically feasible to restore a well-worn example to fine driver or even show status. That ain't the case when great Blazers or Jimmys only command $25,000.
