'67 springs in a 63

Howdy everyone, quick question. There are a set of drop springs on my local craigslist they are for a 67-72 according to the owner, will these work on my 63? Also they are 5" drop in the rear will that require a frame notch? one last thing, i need opinions on if i should go with drop spindles or drop springs pros/cons

Yes they will fit, and a 5 inch drop is getting very close to notch territory. Also, it is well into drop shock and adjustable track bar territory. At a 5 inch drop in back you would need to use both springs AND spindles in front to get the stance right.
