Re: Truck World seat covers
I've used Truck World through forum member truckseats and PUI from the usual vendors. Truck world is clearly above in quality, feel, stitching. Maybe the best part is the scrolling, deep, distinct, not like the muddled edges of the PUI covers. Well worth the cost and sometimes extended lead times.

Re: Truck World seat covers
Here's a link comparing Truck World vs PUI seat covers. Truck World covers use double stitching in some spots where PUI has single stitching

Re: Truck World seat covers
Very high quality. The biggest thing I noticed is how dimensionally accurate these seat covers are. This makes them fit extremely well. Tim at Truckseats is the man to get these from.

Re: Truck World seat covers
Truck World is a wholesaler, you need to find a retailer. I highly recomend forum member Truckseats. You will not find a better price or customer service.

Re: Truck World seat covers
They built my Two Tone Green Buddy Buckets for me and they fit "Perfectly". I can't recommend them highly enough. They worked with me to get the correct shades of green for my 68.

Re: Truck World seat covers
I bought my cover through GMCPauls and they sourced Truck World seat covers (I did not know until I had an issue).
I could not get a sample, as I was told that the vendor takes over a month to send a sample to the retailers. I looked at pictures of the color and decided to chance it. It took nearly 2 1/2 months for me to get the cover. It is great material and really well made. My installed said so himself. I specifically ordered a cover for my 67. When my installer went to install it, he told me it was setup for a non-folding seat and setup to use hogrings instead of the flat clips that came on my seat (factory cover). I don't know seats, but I trust my installer so I went with that and contacted GMCPauls to ask about having the cover remade or refunded because it is not right. Here is what I got back for a response 5 days later: Quote:
I would not buy a seat cover from Truck World again. Adam |

Re: Truck World seat covers
Adam,
Wow, I had exactly the opposite service from Truck Seats. They sent me several samples of green to look at, however none of them would work. I went to a fabric store and found the two shades that would work. I called them and we discussed how to two-tone the seats, and how many yards of each shade I would need. I purchased the material and sent it to them and they stitched up my Buddy Bucket covers, which came out awesome. I had some material left over, so I had them make me Door Panels and a Headliner also, which were also really nice. One advantage of Truck Seats is that they do "Blind Stitching", which means that they stitch from the back so that the thread is pulled tight against the top of the material. This is almost a lost art. Years ago I bought a replacement cover for the original folding seat from one of the catalogs, and I found that it wasn't made exactly like the original either. I had the same problem that you experienced, and I had to add Zip Ties to extend the back cover so that I could hog ring it to the frame. Charles
