Bent cab

Ok gentlemen, I need some help. Thinking about pulling the trigger on a new truck I went to look at today, but an issue with the cab has me concerned. It has the normal rust spots, no big deal, but the truck hit a deer or vice versa and it damaged the drivers door, again no real big deal. But somehow the door bent or rather twisted the cab corner behind the door outward about 3/4 inch. Another way to say this is if you look at the cab just below the gas cap about half way down the door it is twisted outward. The door closes fine and the gap is not terrible but it looks mashed in because the cab is bent outward. My question is has anyone seen this and is it fixable. I will now try to post a pic as I have never did this before so bare with me. If I figure this out I will post pictures of my 2 current builds that are in progress.
Ps. I'm having trouble with picture, can anyone tell me how to post a pic from my iPad. I looked under the FAQ for posting a pic but it doesn't seem to work on my iPad.

You should be able to click on the button below that says "Manage Attachments", then click on "Choose File" then after selecting the picture file (wherever you saved it) click on "Upload".

Alternative, if you have the picture uploaded somewhere else, type without the quotes
"[img]"http://your-image-url"[/img]"

BTW, just about anything is fixable with enough effort, know-how, and money.

I hope this pic works. The bent or twisted part is just behind the door on the cab below the gas cap.

Thanks ken. I was doing it correctly, but I just have sucky wifi at home and it just kept spinning. I tried it at work today and it worked and now I just need to figure out how to get the pic turned properly.

This site just does that sometimes (upload fail) even with a fast connection.

It is where the back edge of the door and the cab meet. The cab side of the door gap. It is below the white stripe and beside the brown filler spot you see on the door. When I try to make the pic a little larger it gets blurry so it's kind of hard to see. It looks like the door is mashed in about 3/4 inch there, but compared to the other side the cab is kind of bowed or twisted outward in that spot.

We'll I may be able to get all I want soon. I have not bought the truck but I made an offer and the owner made a counter offer and we are only a couple hundred apart. I know the problem can be fixed I just don't know how much time and money it will be, but if I buy it I will get some close ups with door open and closed. Let me know what you think if I get some close up pics. Thanks

I'm not sure if I'm treading on sacred ground but what is he asking for the truck? I just find it funny some guys ask the moon for rusted up scrap metal and others seam to give it away. Up here in Canada I've seen guys ask 5000 for a pretty rough project and some guys ask 500.

I live in Georgia and you can find some good deals if you look long enough. It seems to me that only about half of the ones you look at are worth taking on as a project due to the rust however. I can get this truck for $2000-$2100, we will see, but my 62' has much less rust and I got it for $900

I would love to get a chance to look around down there. I paid 500 for mine and it is going to be a handful. As rough as it is I still fell I got a pretty good deal. I've seen similar trucks with the same issues and people ask much more.

Ken, can you tell me what you did to get my pic turned correctly. My pics are all on my iPad and seem to all be rotated 90 degrees.
