Re: Different Year model Rad Swap Question
I am using a 67-69 Camaro radiator in my LS swap. I chose to use it because it fits better and looks more natural in my opinion. It is a few inches wider than stock, but a few inches shorter. It fits between the inner fenders with about 1/2" to spare on each side. Once mounted, it will sit flush with the top of the core support instead of 4" above it. Also once I mount it, it will be about 2" above the frame rails allowing me to connect the lower hose.
For mounting, I will be welding small tabs on that 1" space in the core support. I will be bolting directly to it with a rubber washer for dampening the vibration. |
