Do you need different motor mounts with dirty dingo adapters
I am a bit confused if I use the dirty dingo adapter plates can I use the stock motor mounts or do I need something else

I used the factory motor mounts for my DD sliders in my '76.

used DD sliders with stock towers in my '67 ... you won't be able to mount the AC compressor in the lower position with this set up though.

I bought a set of 73+ frame mounts from Ebay, cleaned then up, repainted them, and installed new rubber. They worked great.

Same here for my 78, and the drive shaft, and shift linkage is in the same location

To answer the question.
You can use your stock motor mounts the clam shell ones when using the dirty dingo mounts. I have a 2 wheel drive 77 and i had no issues. |
