Re: Radiator width

I lucked out today. Before ordering a new one, I thought I'd take a trip to a somewhat local pick-a-part, because they have listed a 70 and 71 C-10 in their inventory.

First stop was the 71, and it was pretty much picked clean, other than side marker lights, a decent seat, clean frame and decent front bumper. I was to lazy to get the seat an bumper though. On to the 70, and sure enough, it still had the radiator and the sb 350. I took the rad, brackets, all of the pulleys, (minus the ps, again to lazy) fan, alt brackets, nice hood and a bunch of small misc stuff oh, and found a 4x4 center cap just lying on the ground. All for $125. I already installed the rad and it dropped right in, 4x4 shroud perfectly in place and no leaks!
