What is a good riding 2.5" lift for an 03 1500.
I am wanting to take my superlift off that advertises 6.5-7.5" of lift. Just too tall and is a rougher ride than I want. Thought about going back stock but also considering up to a 2.5" lift. I assume most might have keys and lift blocks for the rear. I don't do any off roading. I just want a better ride and lower than what I have now. Running a bigger tire than stock would be a plus too. Is a kit with keys the way to go and still have a good ride. If I can't get a good ride out of a small lift then I will just go buy all the components needed to put it back to stock.

Also, if I go back down then will the dual cardan front driveshaft that I have work with either stock or a small lift? I am not lift educated and not sure what I would be getting into if I take the lift off.

Re: What is a good riding 2.5" lift for an 03 1500.
I have a Rancho 2.5" lift on my 2015 Silverado with 33" tires. I'm sure a 2003 will require different parts, but the lifts should ultimately be done the same way. It has blocks in the rear and some block looking things in the front under the coil springs. It rides just like the factory and has a nice stance. The kit I got leveled the truck out also. So its 2.5" up front and only like an inch or so in the rear. Hope that helps.
