Finally found a Burb and it followed me home.
Thanks to Chevybowtieguy 79! He had a lead for me on a nice 72 Burb, so I contacted the seller of this one before it was advertised. And it was only 3 hours from our home. Bought it today and had a nice cruise back.
This is different for me as I typically buy projects or those vehicles needing a good project going over. This was a solid Texas Burb built with a 6.0 LS and 4L80e, Painless wiring, really cold Vintage Air, properly dropped, Dakota Digital gauges, 3:73 rear. Owner set it up with engine, transmission and differential temp sensors that display on the DD gauges. Tap up tap down cruise control and tilt wheel make for a nice ride. Solid body (pictures of body work included) nice paint and new chrome are way too good for me...but still kinda nice. It does need a few revisions (exhaust for one) though it is pretty decent as is. We are pretty excited with this one and plan to take her on HRPT 2015. |
