My Streettrucks feature - 1948 truck
Well my 48 truck is featured in the July issue of Streettrucks. As a young kid I spent countless hours poring through issue after issue. I always thought that it must be such an honor to have a vehicle featured in a magazine. Of any award I have ever won this feature by far takes the cake. I'm an average guy without a huge shop or an unlimited budget. This build took 11 years to complete, so let this serve as proof that its never too late and persistence pays off if you stick with it.
Thanks Marc

That inspires us 'regular Joes' to be patient, spend wisely, and not give up on our projects. Thanks and great work on your '48! Speaking of spending wisely, I will read it and 5 other mags (maybe buy one, even) next time I go to our local book store

From the looks of the truck that's a darn well deserved spread and certainly inspiring to those of us just getting started!

Re: My Streettrucks feature - 1948 truck
And it was well earned!
Around here with my group of hot rodders, if you have a picture of your "car" in a article you have to buy lunch for the group, but what a honor !

Re: My Streettrucks feature - 1948 truck
Congrats.
Just goy my StreetTrucks magazine yesterday, and said, "hey I know that COOL truck!" VERY wel deserved honor. In my opinion, StreetTrucks is the TOP of the magazine list for us truck owners. Badass truck.

Re: My Streettrucks feature - 1948 truck
Congrats on a well deserved magazine photo spread.
That truck is one of the finest examples of a mod rod truck getting it right that I know of. When you first look at photos of the truck you see a whole complete truck you don't have any component dominating the photo. I quit buying that rag on a regular basis years ago as all it usually is is a sales venue for bigger and gaudier billet wheels but I'll have to pick a copy of that issue up.
