I agree about cleaning...That's why the only shiny pieces will be my bumpers and my chrome rims.

I just figured out today looking at my dash why your truck is one hole short on the firewall than my 1966 near the ac firewall harness hole. Duh... yours is a 1965 and does not have the hole/grommet for the 3 washer pump hoses entering the cab to wiper motor.
It just looked strange when I was checking out all the cab holes on yours and mine.

Oh yeah, that'll do it. I can't remember where that grommet even goes on mine anymore, it was so long ago I took it apart.

On the 66 the very top hole was the washer pump hoses, the second one was the ac and fan wire harness grommet, third was a gray plastic plug then the ac line oblong hole. To the left of that the fan to box hose connection.
