66 correct heater hoses and clamps today.

Getting close to lot drive option to get the outside painted soon. All the pictures I took of the "new" 1964 to 1966 pickups at the Lambrecht Chevrolet auction are really making my assembly fun and so unbelievably factory correct in detail items. Was able to find correct reproduction heater hoses and then nos hose clamps/ fender mount/ fittings from a nos GM heater kit I had once bought out of a GM dealer. Notice the 3/4 hose end at the water pump end using a single tower clamp at that end only. Both the new 1965 283 V8 pickup trucks at the Pierce excursion had used this exact arrangement. How neat is that? Even been able to position and clock all the hose clamps just as those new trucks had been off the assembly line. It's been really fun duplicating screws and wire attachments and routings from scouring all those photos of untouched factory assembly line trucks that never got prepped at the dealership.

Re: 66 correct heater hoses and clamps today.

The hoses with the red GM print 3/4" ( using a red tint barb clamp at box with tower clamp on WP fitting end and white GM print 5/8" using a natural or slight gold clamp at both ends were exactly what was used on the ass line based off the Lambrecht 283 trucks. These things are really period correct items used across all GM lines and many other correct style pieces are available from the Corvette parts dealers for Corvette top flight restorations. And that electric solenoid on the base of the carb is what a NOS turbo 400 kickdown switch looks like for 1966. LT1 Burb you should remember that, you made and sent me up the correct bent Turbo 400 column linkage for this truck! And again thank you so much.

Thx , I just found that switch in a box I had and didn't know what it was for. I must have parted out a camper special at one time as I had everything, well except for my memory.
