Re: Stepside Spare Tire Mount

I took some more pictures and it looks like the spare tire holder is for a short wheel base bed as the mount is higher than the bed itself. I also looked and you can make two angle iron brackets and mount it separate from the fender. The last two pictures shows how you could do this - I used the left bracket on both the left and the right side to show an example. Remember, this will still be higher than the bed, unless you lower the bracket placement on the truck.
