drop spindles
I am in the process of installing a disk kit on my 65 c10. I got the old spindles out and installed the new drop spindles . But when I went to install the tie rod ends they are drilled to be installed through the bottom, stock they went in through the top. It seems to put the tie rod ends at a sharp angle. Is this normal?

Re: drop spindles
They were screwed up when manufactured. They must install from the top. Been that way all the way up into when GM switched to rack and pinion in the late '90's or 2000's.
Send them back to whoever you got them from.
