I believe you! Apparently, there are 50 shades of grey!

I know powder coating is incredibly durable. I used a piece of 3/16" steel I found in a dumpster (can you believe what people throw away?) that was powder coated to make some tubing.

I could not get that stuff off with a wire brush on a grinder!
