Installing throttle cable on the peddle side???

Hey guys need some help here. Not sure how to install my lokar throttle cable on the peddle side. My truck is a 67 with the rod that comes out of the fire wall. Here is what the end of my cable looks like.

Question Re: Installing throttle cable on the peddle side???

Can't remember exactly how the 67 throttle looks like. You may have to make a cross over piece to mount it.
A picture of what you have now in the truck that you want to attach the cable to would help a lot. Well for me it would.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Installing throttle cable on the peddle side???

I used a newer peddle that has the cable setup not the rod, and then just used a small washer and fed the cable through the washer and the peddle cable hole.

Thumbs up Re: Installing throttle cable on the peddle side???

Factory 71 pedal has the hole for the cable to go through but the Lokar hook up want work on that end.
I cut mine off and used the cable crimps to mate it up to the pedal.
