When the truck was new, I am confident in saying it didn't bog.
If the carb is worn out or out of tune, it doesn't matter if it is a Holley, a Edelbrock, a QJet, or a ?, there will be drive-ability issues. Your carb likely needs to be rebuilt/tuned. |
