Merry Christmas everyone

We are getting our first snow storm here today, over a foot expected,so not going out.

Seeing if I can un-confuse some Jimmy/Blazer info I've heard or read
I know Blazers were badged "K5",
And I believe it covers the 4x4 and 4x2 Blazers?
The K or C in the Jimmy/Blazer Vin,just means it was born(4x2 or 4x4)
and a 4x2 is not actually a C5
Is then K5 considered the Blazer's "model" name?
what is the model on a Blazer ownership?

I've never seen one badged/heard of them,
But was there the Jimmy badged as K5?

Here (Canada) the model on jimmys ownerships are "C15",to me is "GMC 1/2 ton".

Re: Merry Christmas everyone

That's interesting. I never thought about it before, but I've never heard K5 used with Jimmy. I guess the Jimmy name was used alone to differentiate from its Chevy counterpart. My 79 4x2 is badged as a K5 Blazer. I think you're right that K5 would be part of the Blazer's model name.
