Air bag

I'm wanting to put air bags in the front of my 69. I want to leave the stock upper and lower a arms. Do I need to do anything to the arms to accept the bags? Like cut or weld anything to them? Thanks

Re: Air bag

Everything can be bolted on. Drill 10 holes up front and 6 out back

Re: Air bag

You just have to drill the holes for the upper bag plate, the bottom of the bag will bolt onto a cup that sits where the springs used to. The lower cup doesn't get welded or bolted to the lower arm. You'll also need to drill holes it the upper spring pocket to run the airlines.

If you look at my build, I just finished installing bags so you can get an idea

Does the cup come with bags? Or is something else I need to get?

Some do, most don't. Basically you just look for a 63-87 bag brackets. http://www.azproperformance.com/63-8...-Brackets.html

Call Travis at AzProPerformance.com & tell him you're a member & he'll hook you up pretty good with whatever you need. he is also extremely knowledgeable about our trucks & will point you in the right direction.

I bought my Accuair E-level setup from him and he made sure I have everything I needed for the job.
