Need a bit of help with Holley 500 CFM Carb
After we started up the engine from sitting 2 years, we noticed that we developed a leak in the accelerator plunger on the bottom of the Holley. I spoke with folks at NAPA and because I've changed the carb. out to a two barrel they cant seem to find the model Number of the Holley to order the right gasket kit. Although they are bringing one in for me to tale a look see. All I need in the plunger gasket as in the pic., were trying the number on the bottom of the plunger.
The carb does not have any model number on it. Anybody have ideas? Thanks

What is the number on the choke horn? This link should get you the kit numbers. https://www.holley.com/products/fuel.../parts/0-4412C

Pretty much all Holleys use the same accelerator pump. This is what you need...

Re: Need a bit of help with Holley 500 CFM Carb
That is the choke horn and that is the number you need. If it sat for a while you may want to pull the bowl and look inside. If the fuel got to the accellerator pump it may have a bit of slime inside. Getting a kit will allow you to pull the bowl and the metering block to get it clean replace the needle and seat and put a new power valve in it. All parts that are affected by our wonderful fuel.

Speaking of fuel, anybody add a lead additive? I know it was common back in the day.
