Re: Extreme rear-ended pic
super-cantilever-airbag setup? hahah
Or maybe they started a backhalf and only got as far as the cutting part?

Re: Extreme rear-ended pic
It's in Birmingham, AL. I probably will be going to auction in 2 or 4 weeks. I did not see any airbags in the back and I doubt there would be any in the front. The truck will probably go for $200-400.

That looks like the rusted frame trucks you see in upstate NY.

Re: Extreme rear-ended pic
Looks like the bed got into the back of the cab, bent it, and popped the roof skin at the passenger side front.
A shot like that does bad things to transmissions, too, shoving the driveshaft into them. -Brad

Re: Extreme rear-ended pic
Probably shouldn't make jokes unless it's known if the person driving is ok. Judging by the bent wheel he probably isn't
I see those interior pics were deleted.

Re: Extreme rear-ended pic
I don't really see what that changes. Bad things happen, and its human, and perfectly acceptable, to laugh...even if its dark/macabre. Nothing has been in bad taste.

Re: Extreme rear-ended pic
I don't think the truck is worth saving. The roof is rusted, some rust on front of the hood, frame is a goner and an automatic. Rims probably will be worth some money to a some people but not to most. I echo was someone else mentioned that the extend of the damage probably was due to a corroded frame. I didn't see any good parts on the truck other than 2 fenders, 2 doors (or they could be badly twisted), possible an engine and a transmission. It may sell for a few hundred dollars but I have been wrong before.

Re: Extreme rear-ended pic
In the first pic if you look close you can see the rear fender is deformed and the tailgate looks like it took a hard hit.

Re: Extreme rear-ended pic
Definately one heck of a hit the way the engine is pushed clear into the rad and core support. Hope he/she is ok.
