LS series PCM mounting
ive gotten a few questions on where/ how i mount my PCM for the LS (4.8 5.3 5.7 6.0) engines.... i use the factory truck PCM mount, cut off the backside (so im left with a box)....then i make some angles, one side 'rests' inside the factory notch on the firewall (the one im pointing to), this also locates it...then you can either weld the tabs on, or drill holes in them and bolt them to the firewall.....the PCM simply slides/snap in the holder, makeing for easy removal if neccessery...

Re: LS series PCM mounting
I guess you have to have your motor mounts set just right to have sufficient clearance to access it right? Just saying, when you mount your motor in the frame, is it possible to have it mounted too far back?

Re: LS series PCM mounting
Mine is similiar to Rob's above except its on the driver's side and the harness connectors enter from below. had numerous folks ask me where I had it hidden and it was right there in front of them.

Re: LS series PCM mounting
Not the best picture, but I am using the Tejas Steelworks ECM mount with a small mod to my ECM mounting (longer standoffs) due to my harness routing.
