BF Goodrich tires

So I ordered a set of tires and they are not what I wanted. I have a 79 C10 with 235/75R15 stock tires. I wanted Solid white raised letter BF Goodrich Radial TA tires. Well they don’t make them in that size. What I was told I was getting was the solid white raised letter Longtrail TA. Well I in fact got outlined raised. See the pic. What do you guys think. Is there different size close to what I want with the solid raised. Prefer Radial TA’s Thoughts. Should I settle for this?

Re: BF Goodrich tires

Just bought them. Thanks. Sizes compute to fractions of an inch difference

Re: BF Goodrich tires

They make BFG TA's in 235/75r15. They must have had the Long Trails in stock and didn't want to order the TA's for you. The Long Trails are still a decent tire, shouldn't have any problems. Actually the Long Trails are probable a better choice for a C10. You lucked out.

Re: BF Goodrich tires

You can always use a white paint tire pen and fill in the middle of each letter for a similar effect.

Re: BF Goodrich tires

Yep, I just did the math

255/70x15 255x.70=178.5x2=357+381=738/25.4=29.05" tall tire

235/75x15 235x.75=176.25x2=352.5+381=733.5/25.4=28.87" tall

255/70r15 radial ta's is what my brother has on all four corners of his 84 and it looks good
