Interesting (and gorgeous) C20 Cheyenne on ebay
Check out the SPID... Z84 Cheyenne Super(!) Appears to be an Oshawa truck - and I think we've had some discussions on here in the past about the occasional Z84 (Cheyenne (or CST) only) RPO with the YE9 nomenclature in it (i.e. "Super"). Truck appears legit to me - it is just a Cheyenne, and a very nice one at that. Seller claims 27K original miles. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Ch...m=111992135617

Re: Interesting (and gorgeous) C20 Cheyenne on ebay
I was just about to post that one, Jocko. You're up WAY earlier than I am... or maybe it's way later.
It's a '72 because of the vent window door screws and windshield mirror... but wasn't there a "71 Cheyenne only" thread a few days back that was saying those long-armed door mirrors were '71 only?

It's hard to believe that truck is in Ohio, original and rust free.

Re: Interesting (and gorgeous) C20 Cheyenne on ebay
I just spoke to the seller. He just bought the truck very recently to make a buck on. I'm guessing he has at least a $20K reserve on it. He sent me some additional pics of the engine bay, etc. that weren't in his Ebay ad. I got the whole back story on it. It is the real deal.

That's the case with just about every one of these trucks you see for sale.

The story is what makes the money! Still it is a nice looking truck.

Re: Interesting (and gorgeous) C20 Cheyenne on ebay
A very nice truck...although a couple of underhood and under chassis pics would help a bit.
That said...one thing I always find very telling is the amount of people interested and bidding on very original, clean trucks. There are quite a few more trucks on Ebay that have been updated, modified...arguably restored to better appearance and shape...that don't generate as much interest. It will be worth watching to see where the bidding goes and gets to.....personally, I suspect somewhere near or just south of $15k...but I've been wrong many times before..lol Nice truck for sure..... All Good Coley

Re: Interesting (and gorgeous) C20 Cheyenne on ebay
No, I look at their sales history as well. I called the guy this morning and he sent me these additional pics. I had the high bid for most of the morning, for what it's worth.

Re: Interesting (and gorgeous) C20 Cheyenne on ebay
I think his reserve is at 20 or more. He was saying it was worth 20 to 25. This truck was bought from an estate sale in Pennsylvania by a friend of his and he bought it from the friend just to turn it quickly.

Re: Interesting (and gorgeous) C20 Cheyenne on ebay
He did tell me that the truck had no bumper when he bought it. He installed an aftermarket bumper. That may explain that anomaly. The truck spent it's life with a camper on it. That's why the bed is as good as it is and it probably explains why there are other parts of the truck with no rust.

Beautiful. A rare find for sure! Some one is going to end up with a beauty and will forget what it cost soon enough. Trucks like that are few and far between.
