Which window seal work best

I was looking through my catalog at the part of the window seal that runs along the bottom edge of the door window and keeps debris out of the door. The ones I have now are the felt type material but I saw a pair in a catalog that are more of a squeegee type that are maid out or rubber. It says they are the original type. Which type work best?

Curious as to which catalog. I purchased the felt type a couple of years ago and they were terrible. I was contemplating getting a set of Steele seals, but the rubber squeegee sounds interesting.

Re: Which window seal work best

I will have to look at the catalogs. I tried looking on line and it doesn't seem to be the same ones I saw in the catalog. I thought it was Brothers or Classic Parts Of America but the description does not seem to be the same. I might have been confused by the photo which might not be of the actual part but another years part.

Re: Which window seal work best

I just did mine on my 68 this past weekend and used the Steele Rubber parts stuff. It is rubber squeegee material outside and fuzzy material inside. two separate parts.

+1 on Steele Products. I've used them on different 60's cars and only had to purchase them once. Vice other companies that sent me trash.

Did you order the entire window kit or just the belt line felts. I ordered there full window kit and the belt line felts were sunk into the door and they did not even have the shiney trim
