65 Chevy swap?'s

Ok guys I need to know what all would be needed to do an ls swap from a gen1 with a 700r4? I'm lookin at a 5.3 dropout with as complete as possible. I had a cam lobe go flat and am debating if it's worth risking trying to slide a cam and lifters in and go through break in or just say screw it and ls.... So I need to know personal experience on what you have spent on the simple swap

Re: 65 Chevy swap?'s

Tons of builds, the "what ya got" thread, some of the Faqs, and the advanced forum search tool (4k posts, i know you know where it is ) Just at the top.
That stuff will probably answer 500x the info in way less time than we can in a couple posts. Glue your eyeballs to the screen for a bit and you should get everything you need and more. Stuff like your goals, budget, skill level, time, are all going to be factors.

IMO, once you get through some of the info thats out there and fill in some of those blanks for the goals, budget etc, then we can actually give you some better advice. There are just so many options out there now that we're throwing darts blindly otherwise, and conflicting advice is worse than no advice at all.
