coil spring rubbing

on the drivers side of my c10 [lowered 4.5 inches] the coil spring is not centered so it rubs and makes noise.the pass. side is fine.the drivers side wheel is back about a half inch from a accident before i purchased the truck.i just had the truck aligned and it drives fine.what would you guys suggest i do to move the spring back? image is the front of truck and front of spring.thanks

I've got the same problem in drivers side. No idea what to do.

Me too. I think it happens because the coils are where they are. Like if you could rotate the spring it would have a void in that area and not rub. I am going to try to swap the springs from left to right to see if maybe they are different. I wouldn't think so but who knows.

Let us know what you find out after you swap them. I didn't have this problem with my old coils. Started yesterday when I put in new CPP coils.

Probably wont happen any time soon. I also did the lower control arm mod which may contribute to the issue. I will visit that thread to see if others have encountered this.
